Noah is banging spoons together, delighted to be here. He loved the plane ride and eagerly watched the Honduran hills come into view during our landing. His car seat did not make it out of Houston, so we found a store selling car seats before our departure from San Pedro Sula. Noah might be the only baby in Honduras with a car seat! And now he has two!
We had a perfect evening in La Esperanza on Saturday, halfway on our journey to Santa Lucia. We toured the local market and hospital, stopping in Concepcion to see construction on the new clinic (photo above). Upon our arrival in Santa Lucia, we were welcomed into the beautiful home of the Morris family, an American couple working here with their son Luke for two years.
It has been a busy day in the clinic. Jeff saw patients all day; I ran back and forth a few times while Noah was napping. The rest of the brigade traveled to an outlying village to see patients, and we are excited for their return. It promises to be a rewarding time for all of us.

Maybe Noah can sell a car seat to Baby Peters! What great post - very descriptive - I could perfectly imagine the landscape! I bet everyone loves Noah, what a cutie.
Take care!
